Trained extensively in Urban Search and Rescue (USAR), Underwater Recovery, Rope Rescue, Swift Water Rescue, Canine Search, and Pre-Hospital Care, Lt. (CD) Wei Xian did not just learn the craft—he lived it. He has served as the Chief Rescue Officer at multiple national and international disaster scenes. With boots on the ground in some of the nation’s most harrowing events, Lt. (CD) Wei Xian consistently stood at the frontlines—not only rescuing lives but also mentoring others. As a certified instructor in International Life Saving and First Responder Life Support, he has trained countless new recruits in the Civil Defense Special Force, shaping the next generation of rescuers with the highest standards of discipline, skill, and heart.
