You arrive at 2:00 AM. A 3-year-old girl is sitting in her mother's lap, leaning forward (sniffing position). She is drooling, very quiet, and has a high fever. You hear a high-pitched squeak when she breathes in (inspiratory stridor). She looks extremely sick ("toxic").
